The Staghorn team is committed to conducting business by acting with integrity and meeting the highest ethical standards in all relationships and transactions. We are meticulous about adhering to a strict environmental, social and governance policy adopted by all companies in the EnCap Investments' portfolio.

We believe it’s important to have a positive impact on the communities where we live and work. We participate in charities and other efforts that improve lives, including:

  • Global Gardens, an organization that empowers students in low-income communities by helping them create gardens as a way to learn about science, health and the environment, and to challenge them to become caring, forward-thinking and confident individuals and community members.
  • Habitat for Humanity. We volunteer in home-building projects to improve the lives of people who participate in the program.
  • Love and Logic Parent & Teacher Coaching. We volunteer our skills for parent and teacher coaching at various schools that serve an at-risk population.
  • Small Steps Nurturing Center whose mission is to provide an exemplary early childhood program to instill and foster the social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth of economically at-risk children and their families.
  • Volunteers of America, Tulsa area programs (charitable giving)
  • Active participation in area churches and giving to help meet the needs of our local communities.

Environmental Policy

  • Staghorn encourages and embraces the efficient use of natural resources and continuously looks for and expects the best environmental solutions for our operations.
  • We believe that economic considerations in isolation do not provide sufficient guidance for environmentally conscious decision-making that balances the interests of individuals, communities and future generations.
  • We seek to fully comply and/or exceed compliance with all applicable federal, state and local environmental regulatory requirements.

Social Policy

  • We treat all employees, stakeholders and others who are affected by our activities fairly and without prejudice to gender, race, ethnic or national origin, socioeconomic status, age, religion or disability.
  • We seek to ensure that Staghorn’s employees and contractors comply with the highest ethical standards.
  • We believe our activities should not only benefit our employees and stakeholders, but the community as a whole.

Corporate Governance Policy

  • We seek to ensure that our business practices comply fully, in appearance and deed, with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • We strive to establish and maintain our reputation by exhibiting diligence, honesty, fairness and transparency in all of our business dealings.
  • We have in place appropriate frameworks and measures for corporate governance.
